R&D Animal Nutritionist

We are looking for a Research & Development Nutritionist for our animal division to support globally the ACTIPRO ingredients development. In this role you will actively manage projects that research our ingredients (blood products, collagen, egg, mycoproteins, ...) for its application in animal nutrition (pet food, pigs, chicken, dairy, fish, shrimp, …).  You will support the worldwide sales team with your technological and nutritional experience.  You play a crucial role in gaining further insights into our current ingredients and future innovations.  Together with the CEO and Sales Director, you form a multidisciplinary team that is the cornerstone for the continuous growth of the VEOS Group.

Responsibilities

• You will initiate and manage customer driven applications projects and will closely follow up field trials
• You will coordinate and manage project activities between key stakeholder departments, including Operations, Quality, Marketing, Sales and R&D.
• Giving technical support and education to customers and the sales team will be part of your role.
• Actively participating and presenting your research at congresses, writing publications, join industry research projects, …
• You will be responsible for maintaining and updating technical product documentation formats and content.
• Supporting Quality departments in relation to Regulatory affairs.
   

Profile

• Experience in the technical and research field of animal nutrition.  As this is a multispecies setup, a wide interest in animal nutrition is recommended.
• Good communication skills, where you can adapt to the level of complexity depending on your audience.
• Fluent in English is a requirement, Dutch and/or other languages are clearly an advantage.
• Willing to travel
